We have been hard at work this week getting ready for the seedling sale this weekend! We are very excited about the sale and getting to see you all. The plants we'll have available this weekend are: cucumber, cantaloupe, yellow personal watermelon, cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, orange bell pepper, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, banana pepper, purple bean, black eyed pea, yellow zucchini, yellow squash, zucchini, red okra, green okra, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, acorn squash, sweet corn, jalapenos. Sadly some of the other plants we started may not be ready this weekend but should be ready the following week. We hope to see all of you this weekend!
ALL of our seedlings are organic and grown in organic compost. Most of our varieties are heirloom - ones you can't buy anywhere else in town.
Remember, if you come to the sale, and you have any egg cartons or aluminum cans we can recycle for you, please bring them on Saturday!
The sale will be at 902 Esther in Bryan. We'll also have organic lemonade and organic suckers for sale while you shop.
We'll have more fall/late winter seedlings available in about six weeks. We're using Texas A&M's guide for planting, so the items we have available right now are what should be planted at this time. But leave room in your fall/winter garden for the other veggies we'll have ready in a few weeks.
